The rooms at Chillis Backpackers are super cozy and comfortable! The air conditioning is a total lifesaver, especially in the hot Darwin weather. And the ceiling fans add a nice breeze, so you never feel stuffy. I also appreciated having secure lockers to keep my belongings safe.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of having a washbasin with a mirror in the room. I prefer having a separate bathroom space.

The hostel is in the heart of the city, in the best street about pubs and locals.
1. The staff is incredibly unfriendly. They make you feel like if they were doing you a favour letting you in. 2. They absolutely don't care about guests; no invitation to be silent at night, no invitation to be respectful there. Drunk people everynight inside the hostel bother guests hitting doors, screaming and so on. 3. They're able to get in your room and do whatever they want; they've made a hole in the wall and all our stuff was totally white for the powder fallen down. 4. Bathrooms have no separation between gents and ladies. No doors, just tents between the showers. 5. The price!!! Is totally expensive.

I stayed at this hostel for two weeks and I don't regret it at all. The place was clean, quiet, and in a great location. The staff, especially Miguel at the reception, were cool and friendly, making my experience in Darwin the best. Highly recommended!
Hotel breakfast could be better - more variety would have been nice.

I loved our room at Chillis Backpackers in Darwin! It was super comfy with air conditioning and ceiling fans to keep us cool. The secure lockers gave us peace of mind, and having a washbasin with a mirror was so convenient. We felt right at home!
If I had to pick one thing, I guess it would be that the room only had a washbasin with a mirror. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

the hostel, Chillis, was clean, quiet, and conveniently located. the staff, especially Miguel, the Spanish guy at the reception, were friendly and helpful. With their assistance, I had the best experience in the city. I definitely recommend Chillis to anyone visiting!
Nothing at all 😊.

The facilities at this hostel were top-notch. the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of amenities like sinks in the rooms and multiple toilet and shower stalls down the hall. the staff was friendly and accommodating, even allowing my friends to store their luggage in my room. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, with shops and restaurants just a stone's throw away. a great place for families with children.
Felt like being in the comfort of my own home, no complaints at all.

I recently stayed at a great hostel in the heart of town for a few nights. The location was perfect, close to bars, supermarkets, and public transportation. The twin room I stayed in had its own private sink and fridge, which was really convenient. Plus, the air conditioner in the room was adjustable, so I could control the temperature myself. The bathrooms were generally clean, though some showers and taps were broken. The staff at reception were helpful and friendly, making my stay even better. it was a comfortable and affordable stay.
I recommend this hotel.
